David Schwimmer playing a Kardashian in new TV miniseries?

David Schwimmer has been cast to play lawyer Robert Kardashian in the upcoming American crime drama that follows the trial of OJ Simpson.

The new series entitled ‘American Crime: The People v. O.J. Simpson’, will feature Schwimmer playing high-powered lawyer Robert Kardashian, who was the father of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian.

David-Schwimmer

Robert Kardashian was friends with OJ Simpson and ended up representing him in his largely publicised 1995 trial. The trial will be the focus for the first 10 episodes of the series.

This seems Schwimmer in one of his first TV features roles in years, his most recent performances have been in F.R.I.E.N.D.S co-stars ‘Lisa Kudrow’s showtime show ‘Web Therapy’ and doing voice-over for the Madagascar franchise. He also has had some success directing.

We are sure of one thing, it will be good to see Schwimmer with a role that he can really show off his talent. We’re still hoping for a F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion.
