X Factor’s ‘Only The Young’ have cancelled their first headline gig as one of the band members mum has died.
Only the Young’s Parisa Tarjomani is currently mourning (along with her bandmates) at the loss of her mother Sophia, who has died following a long battle with lung cancer.
Boxing day the band were meant to perform on their first headline gig together at Fulham’s Under The Bridge, but have since cancelled after his sad news.
Parisa, 20, wrote on social media, 12th December: “Today I lost my incredible, inspiring and beautiful Mum. Thank you for giving us the life you did. I’ve never met a woman quite like you. Heaven has gained an angel and I know you’re watching over us. I love you forever Mum (sic)”
Jake Quickenden has also sent a special message to Parisa and her sister Zahra, he tweeted: “My heart goes out to Parissa today, much love and am here for you, she was so proud of you and had good reason for that @OTYOfficial (sic)”
