Coronation Street star Paula Lane welcomes baby boy!

Paula Lane has given birth to a baby boy!

Paula Lane, who plays Kylie Platt in Coronation Street, and her husband Tom Shaw welcome their first child on New Years Eve.


Paula took to Twitter to announce the news to her followers in the early hours of New Years Day writing

“Our world is complete – we finished off a momentous year with the arrival of our beautiful baby boy on NYE!!!!”

Her friends from Coronation Street were quick to congratulate the couple, with Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price, writing:

“massive congrats guys!!! Lots of love!! I’m cooking him a little pal as we speak ; ) xxx”

Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, wrote: “so happy for you both xxx,” while Maria Connor actress Samia Ghadie added: “massive congratulations guys! Big hugs and love to u all! xxxx”

Paula announced her pregnancy in June 2014, a month after she got married to Tom.
