Radio 1Xtra DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford took over presenting The Xtra Factor in 2014 as Caroline left the show to appear on a rival show, Strictly Come Dancing.

Caroline went on to win Strictly Come Dancing 2014 and is now appearing on the tour around the UK and has spoken about an Xtra Factor return with Olly saying it’s “likely”.

When speaking to the press this week, Caroline said: “Me and Olly are still great mates. I’d love to present another show with him and I think it’s likely to happen.

“It would have to be a silly show though – me and Olly aren’t the most serious of duos.”

Although, when Simon was speaking about the new presenter Sarah-Jane, he said: I think she’ll be back next year. She makes me laugh and she’s got better the longer she’s done it.”
