Rachel Stevens is set to replace Frankie Bridge on the Strictly Come Dancing 2015 tour.
Yesterday Frankie Bridge revealed on The One Show that she’s expecting her second child and has to pull out of the Strictly tour.
Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood confirmed the news on the BBC show saying: “She’s going to be having a baby!”
Frankie said: “So excited to tell you that Wayne & I are expecting another baby later this year. We cant wait for Parker to have a little brother or sister
“Sadly I’m really unwell with my pregnancy and won’t be able to take part in the Strictly tour. I’m SO sorry. I was so looking forward to it.”
Rachel Stevens is now set to replace Frankie. Rachel said: “I’m really happy for Frankie and Wayne – it’s great news to start the New Year with! I know she’s disappointed not to be doing the tour – I was supporting Team Frankie during the show and she was fantastic, but I’m happy to be able to step in for her.
“It’s no secret that I loved my time in Strictly and that I’m a big fan of the dances so I’m excited to be back and to get my dancing shoes on again. Today, I’m straight into rehearsals learning the routines and meeting the guys and next week we’ll be on tour seeing fans across the country – I can’t wait!”
The final tour lineup has now been confirmed:
- Caroline Flack with Tristan MacManus
