Sam Smith takes the nominations by storm as he is nominated for 5 awards, against the likes of Ed Sheeran, George Ezra and One Direction!

Its that time of year again that the Brit Award nomination’s are revealed, and its no surprise who has been nominated.

It seems like us Brits are loving the home grown talent as the ever lovely Ed Sheeran and George Ezra have been nominated for 4 awards, but neither of those beating British breakthrough Sam Smith, who has the most nominations with 5.

Taylor Swift and Beyonce are set to take the Brits by storm, both being nominated for International Solo Woman, while One Direction are up against Coldplay for Best British Band, and a whole eray of other artists in Best British single.

Take That will join already confirmed acts Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Paloma Faith, George Ezra and Royal Blood to preform on the evening, It is even rumored that Madonna could make an appearance!

The uprising Aussies that are 5 Seconds of Summer are about to go head to head in a battle for the Best International Group award against the Foo Fighters. It was well know that the four boys are a massive fan of the Foo, with current members Dave, Pat, Taylor, Chris and Nat converting all of their nominations into Wins. Luke, Calum, Michael and Ashton have a brilliant chance with fans all over the world, will they break that the Foo’s clean slate?
