The first official poster for the Magic Mike sequel, Magic Mike XXL has been released (and it’s XXL).
Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez and Gabriel Iglesias are all returning for the Magic Mike sequel.
The plot will revolve around everyone’s favourite male exotic dancers going to a strippers’ convention. It’s the first memory of Channing Tatum’s stripper days that he shared with Reid Carolin (his producing partner) when pitching the first film: “I want to do the story of when I’m in a dark U-Haul with a bunch of these guys and we’re doing drugs driving up to the stripper convention.”
Magic Mike XXL carries on from the original, 3 years later, after Mike bowed out of the stripper life – but is ready to show the newcomers the stripper game.
The sequel is set to hit cinemas Wednesday 1st July 2015.
