Spider-Man will now appear with the popular Marvel superheroes after Marvel and Sony confirm partnership together.
It has been confirmed today that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are planning for Spider-Man to make a debut within the Marvel cinematic universe.
Bob Iger, chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company said: “Spider-Man is one of Marvel’s great characters, beloved around the world,
“We’re thrilled to work with Sony Pictures to bring the iconic web-slinger into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which opens up fantastic new opportunities for storytelling and franchise building.”
Bob Iger also owns Marvel Entertainment.
Spider-Man’s up-coming Sony movie is set to be released July 28th 2017 in America. The UK cinema date could differ, but hasn’t yet been confirmed.
