EastEnders went live tonight as part of their special ‘live week’ – Read for a short summary of episode 1 and pictures of the live segments.

Tonight’s show hinted that Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) killed Lucy Beale – but it’s way too soon to find out who the real killer is, as Thursday is meant to be the big reveal.

During the last few seconds of tonight’s show, Max (Jake Wood) turned to his teenage daughter Abi and said ‘she knows you killed Lucy’ – She being Lauren.

The main topic of tonight’s show was the preparation of Ian and Jane’s wedding.

One of the live segments saw Jane opening a card from Lauren.

Richard Blackwood also joined the cast tonight.
