News hit the headlines this week that Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC over a ‘fracas’ with the BBC Two show producer – but now it’s been reported that Jeremy turned himself in.

The BBC are now holding a full investigation into the ‘fight’ with the producer and will then decide if Jeremy will remain on the motoring show, Top Gear via a panel.

The producer in question is called Oisin Tymon. Daily Mail columnist Richard Littlejohn wrote: “My understanding is that Tymon hasn’t made an official complaint. Clarkson denies punching him, but admits there was ‘contact’ and has apologised profusely.

“It’s the kind of thing which happens when people are living under pressure in each other’s pockets.

“Dressing room fisticuffs are not unknown among rock stars or on rugby tours. Normally what happens on tour stays on tour.”

A petition was started to reinstate Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear, it has now received over 750,000 signatures.
