Britain’s Got Talent continued its strong run with its second show-stopping episode last night, topping an average of 10 million viewers for the second week in a row, and growing its audience peak, week on week.
Last night’s show attracted an impressive audience peak of 11.7 million viewers / a 52% share of viewing – up by nearly half a million viewers on the audience peak to last weekend’s opener.
An average audience of 10.1 million viewers/ a 47% share watched last night’s show – matching the audience to last week’s launch episode, and once again dominating Saturday night viewing.
With 10.1 million viewers, last night’s episode is up by 800k viewers, year on year.
Britain’s Got Talent is the highest rating entertainment show of the year, and continues to be ITV’s highest rating programme of 2015.
Last night’s show saw viewers amazed by some incredible acts including 5 piece dance troupe Boyband who secured the second Golden Buzzer of the series from Ant & Dec after wowing the audience with their energetic routine.
Magician Jamie Raven, astounded the judges with his close up routine, with Simon Cowell saying he now believed in magic, while 12 year old Henry Gallagher impressed the judges and the audience with his self penned song, Lightening, about wanting a girl at school to notice him.
