Top of the Pops could be coming back to the telly soon with hosts Dermot O’Leary and Fearne Cotton.
It’s been rumoured that BBC’s Top Of The Pops is set for a comeback this year with a major revamp including X Factor’s Dermot and Radio 1 presenter Fearne Cotton set to host.
BBC bosses are apparently keen to bring back the iconic programme, Top Of The Pops with a facelift.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “The new Friday night charts could be the perfect tie-in – with Top of the Pops a brilliant start to the weekend.
“Dermot’s departure from the X Factor is another piece of the jigsaw.”
They added: “He already presents a popular Radio 2 show – fronting Top of the Pops is a logical step.”
The BBC responded to these rumours with a short statement, reading: “There have been constant whispers about Top of the Pops returning but they are just whispers.”
