Dermot O’Leary ’24 Hour Day of Dance’ for Comic Relief has now raised over £1 million for charity.


Former X Factor host Dermot O’Leary Comic Relief challenge hasn’t stopped bring in money for the charity yet, as last month it pasted £1 million.

On the night of Comic Relief 2015, Dermot’s total was £643,336, now an updated total has been revealed and it’s £1,011,117.

Dermot said: “When I first came up with the idea for this challenge, I had no idea it would grip people in this way, and I’m so proud of what we achieved together.

“To know that even in these difficult times the public have dug deep and donated is just incredible, and on behalf of everyone who will benefit so much from your generosity I would just like to say a huge, gigantic, mammoth thank you!”
