The 17th annual awards, which took place in Manchester at the Palace Theatre, honoured the nation’s biggest and best-loved TV shows, as well as the stars that have appeared in this year’s most talked about storylines.

EastEnders was crowned ‘Best Soap’ last night (16th May).

Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale in EastEnders thanked the viewers at home for voting.

Adam said: “We all work so hard. Tonight’s about a celebration for all of us and all the work that we’ve done.

“So from all of us to all of you, congratulations.”
