Britain’s Got More Talent host, Stephen Mulhern has slammed reports of arguing with Amanda Holden backstage.
Stephen Mulhern has slammed reports that he and judge Amanda Holden had to be separated by Simon Cowell earlier this week.
During a game on Britain’s Got More Talent during Monday’s live show, Amanda Holden soaked Stephen after his 20 years older game turned horribly wrong.
Since the incident aired on ITV2, tabloids have reported that Simon Cowell had to separate the two backstage.
Stephen on ITV’s This Morning, said: “Before we start by the way, the whole idea of this is to give This Morning all the gossip, and you may have seen on a front page of a paper this morning a headline about Amanda Holden and myself… being ‘split up in an argument by Simon Cowell’.
“I made a joke – which we spoke about the other day – Simon didn’t have to calm us down or anything like that. It’s absolute nonsense!”
This Morning host, Phillip Schofield added: “The thing about Amanda is she’s not like that anyway. Anyone who knows Amanda will know that she’d have a laugh!”
Britain’s Got Talent continues tonight (27th May) at 7.30pm on ITV2.
