Love Island comeback launch show loses out to Big Brother in ratings war!


Big Brother has beaten Love Island 2015 Launch in last night’s ratings battle. Will ITV2 overtake Channel 5 soon?


Last night X Factor 2015 host Caroline Flack launched a revamped series of Love Island on ITV2, which is set to air for the next six weeks.

An average of 430,000 viewers tuned in to Sunday evening’s launch show where we saw the contestants get paired up and the last two days worth of romance.

The launch showed aired from 9pm until 10:30pm and saw host Caroline drop the first love twist of the contestants by sending in newbie twins John and Tony Alberti.

Big Brother also aired at the same time but picked up an average audience of 940,000 viewers.

You’ll be happy to know there is now clash tonight as Love Island airs from 9pm and Big Brother airs from 10pm.
