Emma Watson has denied reports she was a target of a ‘kidnap plot’ on the set of Beauty and the Beast.
According to reports, bosses of the new film ‘Beauty and the Beast’ were alerted after two studio workers were overheard planning to kidnap Emma Watson at Shepperton Studios.
A taxi driver apparently alerted bosses after ‘overhearing’ a conversation about kidnapping the Harry Potter actress.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “There was concern about her safety. The taxi staff reported what had been overheard after a night shoot.”
“They said the two studio staff travelling in the cab were chatting in a foreign language, unaware that the driver could understand every word.”
Since the reports were published, a short investigation took place and was looked into, it found the rumours to be untrue.
