Ed Sheeran has been announced to replace Justin Bieber at Fusion Festival 2015.
Justin Bieber was booked to headline Friday 28th August date alongside Tinie Tempah, Rixton, DJ Fresh, and Fuse ODG.
Fusion Festival organisers confirmed that Bieber has dropped out of the lineup due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, they said: “It is with great regret that, due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber has withdrawn from his performance at Fusion Festival on Friday 28th August 2015″.
Ed Sheeran has now been announced to headline the Friday show, the organisers said: “Fusion are VERY excited to announce, the one and only Ed Sheeran will now be headlining Friday 28th August at Fusion Festival with Vimto 2015.
“Fresh from his sold-out Wembley stadium shows, Ed will be bringing his full 90-minute set to Cofton Park and WE CAN’T WAIT!”
Ed said: “I’m delighted to be playing Fusion Festival after stepping in at the last minute to help out the guys at Fusion and support The Prince’s Trust.
“Birmingham crowds are always lively, so I can’t wait to come back. See you in a few weeks!”
