Sir Cliff Richard has paid emotional tribute to Cilla Black today at her funeral singing ‘Faithful One’.
Cilla’s funeral began at 1pm at St Mary’s Church in the Liverpool suburb of Woolton, today.
After the service, Cilla’a body will be laid to rest at a private ceremony in Allerton Cemetery alongside her parents, John and Priscilla.
Speaking at the funeral, Cliff Richard said: “She was able to do what she was set out to do. You can’t help but remember her without funny things happening.
“We would talk about age sometimes, I said to her, ‘Cilla, I’m three years older than you. She said I know chuck and it’ll always be that way.’
He continued: “I have a faith so therefore I don’t anything happens by accident. There has to be something else. I know there is something else.
“Cilla, this is just a hiccup in our relationship. We’ll see you again.”
