Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins stole Paul Hollywood’s Aston Martin then crashed it!

Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins stole Paul Hollywood’s Aston Martin as a prank, then crashed it.

Great British Bake Off hosts Mel and Sue have revealed they once stole Hollywood’s Aston Martin as a joke, then it went seriously wrong.

According to Heatworld, Sue said: “I nicked the key off [Paul] and we just drove off. I’d never driven an Aston Martin before.

“We couldn’t turn it on but eventually it went… and we drove it into a ditch and had to phone a garage.”

Mary Berry even joined in pranking Paul, apparently.

She said: “Mary defaced his car last year. [She wrote] ‘Love Mary’. She was there with a wet wipe, desperately, for about an hour trying to get it off.”

The Great British Bake Off continues on Wednesdays at 8pm on BBC One.
