Strictly Come Dancing 2015: Former The Wanted singer, Jay McGuiness confirmed!

Singer Jay McGuiness is today confirmed as the tenth celebrity to be revealed for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One.

Jay McGuiness was announced exclusively on BBC Radio 1 today when he joined Matt Edmondson live in the studio and revealed the news on air.

Jay said: My family are such huge Strictly fans, I know I’ve made them very happy by taking part – I can’t wait to get started!

“I love to dance but this is going to be so different from anything I have done before. I’m up for it!”

Anthony Ogogo joins Jeremy Vine, Ainsley Harriott, Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham, Carol Kirkwood, Peter Andre and Daniel O’Donnell who have already been announced as celebrity contestants appearing in Strictly Come Dancing this year.

Jess Glynne has also been confirmed to perform on the opening night.

Strictly will waltz back onto our screens on Saturday, September 5.
