X Factor 2015: Live judges’ houses SCRAPPED as bosses fear technology failure letdown!

The X Factor 2015 bosses have CANCELLED the live judges’ houses segment of the show as they fear technology problems.

Boss Simon Cowell and X Factor producers were planning for the X Factor judges houses to be live, but now they’ve scraped the idea.

Originally a source said: “Judges houses has always been one of the most talked about and watched parts of the series, and one idea being discussed is to make these episodes live. It would be an exciting innovation and make for real event TV.”

Now the bosses have decided to pre-record the judges houses stages abroad, as they’ve previously done in the past.

However, the judges will not decide which singers go through to the live show stage and who goes home until the night the auditions air on October 24th and 25th, it’s been said.

“All the judges and singers will then be filmed live at a London studio that weekend, where the 12 finalists will then be chosen live” it has been revealed.

An insider said: “We’ve always planned to have a live element to Judges Houses, to give it more tension and drama. The biggest part of the show is the contestants’ reactions – finding out whether they have made it to the live shows and learning who the final 12 are.

“Now that we are finalising our plans this will all happen live from the studio in Wembley with all the judges and the contestants together, along with their friends and family.

“For the rest of the show we are going to pre-record the contestants performing on location, as logistically and technically this will give us the best show for viewers.”

The X Factor continues this weekend.
