X Factor 2015: Nick Grimshaw boots Tom Bleasby then brings him back by audience demand!

Despite Nick struggling to fill up his seats at the start of the six chair challenge process, he is soon inundated with outstanding performers.

One singer which shocked Nick Grimshaw the most was 26 year-old Ben Clark, with his version of Kodaline’s All I Want. Simon in particular was left in shock after his phenomenal performance calling it “one of the best we’ve heard”.

Ben easily earns himself one of the six chairs, but they are already full.

Earlier in the challenge, Tom Bleasby gave Nick hope at a time when no one was quite cutting it in his category. His impressive performance left the audience chanting to ensure that Tom got Nick’s first seat.

This is why the audience are left horrified when Nick declares that Tom is to be replaced by Ben. The decision sparks a mood of fury amongst the audience resulting in them chanting “bring him back” in unison.

6 Chairs Challenge

The noise and scale of support for Tom is overwhelming for Nick and decides he has made the wrong decision, admitting that he “can’t ignore the reaction and the love that is going on for Tom right now, so I think I am going to swap you and sit you back down”.

After much deliberation Nick decides that he is going to have to swap Tom with Nathanael Landskroner. Although this leaves Nathanael in a state of tears and sadness, the audience quietly accept Nick’s decision.

Tune in next weekend to see the drama unfold with the groups.
