Daniel Craig has been told to ‘shut up’ by Sony executives following his comments about James Bond.
While promoting Spectre Daniel Craig made some very controversial comments, saying he would “rather slash his wrists” than play James Bond again.
Craig told Time Out in an interview: “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists [than do another film]. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done, all I want to do is move on.”
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Sony executives have since told Daniel to ‘shut up’ about Bond.
A source said: “They had problems initially with the script, Craig was injured on the set and needed knee surgery, and they were still doing re-shoots last month, even though the movie is out in weeks. It was a very difficult shoot, to say the least.”
Another source said: “Craig is pretentious and thinks he’s better than Bond, that it doesn’t give him the creative range he needs.”
