Fans are questioning if Angie Bowie will leave the Celebrity Big Brother house following David Bowie’s death.
It’s emerged today that David Bowie sadly passed away yesterday following 18 months with cancer – He died surrounded by family.
A statement read: “David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer,
“While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”
His son, film director Duncan Jones tweeted: “Very sorry and sad to say it’s true. I’ll be offline for a while. Love to all.”
Angie was married to David from 1970 to 1980 and is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house – It’s not yet clear when Channel 5 bosses will break the news to the star.
It’s been reported that Angie and David haven’t spoken for nearly forty years, so it’s not yet confirmed what Angie’s decision will be after finding out about David’s death.
Channel 5 confirmed to TwitCelebGossip that they’ll be informing Angie off camera today about the news, the statement they provided read: “Following the very sad news of David Bowie’s death this morning, we can confirm that Angie Bowie will be informed off camera today at the earliest opportunity.
“We will update further once this has taken place.”
