Rebecca Adlington may have to quit The Jump 2016 after an awful fall which happened during training yesterday.

Swimming Legend, Rebecca Adlington may have to quit The Jump before it even starts after a horrific fall.

Rebecca’s future in the competition is now hanging in the balance, The Sun reports.

A source told the paper after witnessing the fall: “One minute she was flying  through the air, the next she was crumpled on the crash mat, and clearly in a lot of pain.

“It was hard to tell at first what had happened, but it was clear she needed to go to hospital. Doctors there spent hours assessing her condition to work out exactly how bad the damage was.

“The doctors were happy  to discharge Becky yesterday, and she may still take part in the show tomorrow, but it is all down to how she and the medics feel about her condition.”

A Channel 4 spokesperson for the show confirmed that Rebecca could quit the show if her condition doesn’t improve overnight.

The Jump begins tonight on Channel 4 at 7:30pm. Here’s everything you need to know about the up-coming series.
