Beth Tweddle may have life-changing back injuries following a horrifying crash on The Jump 2016.
TwitCelebGossip confirmed earlier that Beth Tweddle has become the third celebrity contestant to quit The Jump after a nasty crash.
Beth hurt her back as she hit a barrier during training for The Jump, she was airlifted to Hospital shortly after.
“Beth was on the jump on Saturday afternoon and managed to pull it off correctly,” a source close to the show told The Sun On Sunday.
“But she didn’t slow down in time or didn’t stop properly and crashed into a barrier,
“She fractured two vertebrae and will be operated on.”
Before quitting, a Channel 4 spokesperson said: “During training Beth successfully landed a jump but did not stop and awkwardly collided with crash pads at the end of the jump out run.
“The health and safety of the competitors is always paramount and Beth was immediately taken to hospital for treatment after hurting herself during training.”
Tina Hobley recently had to quit after dislocating her elbow in a fall. She was replaced with The Wanted’s Tom Parker.
Rebecca Adlington has today announced she’s quit after dislocating her shoulder earlier in the week, Heather Mills is now her replacement.
Louisa Lytton was the first celebrity eliminated last weekend.
