Adele wins BRIT Awards 2016 British Female Solo Artist award!


    Adele has won The BRITs 2016 British Female Solo Artist award at tonight’s ceremony.


    One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne presented the award for British Female Solo Artist.

    Hello hitmaker, Adele took home the first award of the night ‘British Female Solo Artist’.

    Adele recognised the female talent also nominated, she said: “It’s been a privilege to be alongside you.”

    At the end of her speech she said: “I’d like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha.”

    Up for the award were late Amy Winehouse, Jess Glyne, Laura Marling and Florence + the Machine.

    BRIT Awards 2016 was hosted live at the O2 Arena in London on Wednesday 24th February, with Ant & Dec returning as hosts.
