Britain’s Got Talent is back with a bang as The Voice UK receives it’s worst ratings yet.
Britain’s Got Talent returned last night to ITV while over on BBC One The Voice UK was concluding with their final.
An average audience of 4.5 million watched The Voice to see the winner be crowned last night, it’s the show’s worst final rating, ever.
A peak of 6.1 millioned turned into the last 5 minutes of the show to see Kevin Simm take the crown.
Compared to last year’s 6.3 million audience and 2012’s 7.1 million, The Voice failed to impress this year.
Meanwhile over on ITV Britain’s Got Talent doubled The Voice’s rating.
The tenth series of BGT began last night with an impressive 9.1 million viewers, almost peaking at a mind-blowing 11 million.
Although the launch ratings are down one million from last year’s, the show has blown the competition out the water.
The Voice UK will be taken over by ITV next year, Britain’s Got Talent returns next Saturday.
