Last night fewer than 9 million people tuned in for the fifth episode of BGT.
An average audience of 8.7 million tuned in from 8pm on ITV, down 600,000 on last Saturday.
Last night’s ratings are down 1.5 million viewers on 2015’s figure.
Saturday’s episode featured Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer choice, a dance group dressed as stormtroopers.
Viewers were outraged by the boss’ choice, classing the show as a ‘joke’.
