The Voice’s Joe Woolford and Jake Shakeshaft are representing the UK in the Eurovision tonight.
Joe Woolford Jake Shakeshaft will be taking to the Eurovision stage tonight in front of millions of people.
Joe and Jake both appeared on last year’s The Voice UK. Joe made it through to the live shows with coach Rita Ora while Jake made to the knockouts with coach Will.i.am.
The pair won the public vote to represent the UK with their song ‘You’re Not Alone’.
Tonight they’ll be performing live in front of millions from Sweden.
When asked why the Eurovision Song Contest was important to them, they responded: “We can’t overestimate what an honour it is to be representing the UK in the biggest musical contest ever.
“It’s like a dream come true,
“The impact of Eurovision is huge, far ranging and it touches so many fans around the world – to perform on that stage is the highlight of our career. It blows our minds to know that millions of people will be tuning in. We can’t wait to get to Stockholm and experience the atmosphere for ourselves.”
Eurovision 2016 will air on BBC One tonight.
