Britain’s Got Talent 2016 Preview: Danny Beard shocks Simon with Rocky audition!

Danny Beard shocked Simon Cowell during auditions when he began to sing Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Sweet Transvestite.

In this weekend’s last audition show Danny Beard puts a smile on Simon Cowell’s skeptical face with his powerful and sassy rendition of Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Sweet Transvestite.

Danny Beard reveals he does his act for a living, Simon looked unimpressed from the start.

Until Danny began to sing, then Simon’s face lit up.

This Saturday, in the final auditions of the series, the remaining hopefuls take to the Britain’s Got Talent stage to impress the judges, while the final 45 acts that are through to the live semi-finals are also revealed.

The judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are joined by the nation’s favourite TV duo, Ant & Dec, who will be on hand to encourage, congratulate and commiserate the acts whilst guiding the audience through the auditions.

Once the last acts have auditioned, the judges then face the hard task of whittling down this year’s crop of talented contestants to the lucky few who will perform in the live shows. With lots of talent seen so far, who will secure a coveted spot in the live shows, joining this year’s Golden Buzzer contestants who have already been guaranteed a place?

Following much deliberation and discussion the nail-biting wait is then over as the acts are called back to see the judges and learn their fate.

The lucky act who is crowned the winner in the live grand final will secure a life changing cash prize of £250,000 and the opportunity to perform at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.

Britain’s Got Talent airs Saturday 21 May at 8pm on ITV.
