Britain’s Got Talent 2016: Meet the final contestants – Week 7!


Tonight is the last night of Britain’s Got Talent 2016 auditions, see who’s featuring in episode 7.


The dream team of judges – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams – will once again take their places on the panel, for another week of searching for the most astonishing and exhilarating talent around.

They are joined by the nation’s favourite TV duo, Ant & Dec, who will be on hand to encourage, congratulate and commiserate the acts whilst guiding the audience through the auditions. This year’s winner year’s will secure an incredible £250,000 and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance 2016.

Meet the final contestants from week 7:

Johnny Boonham – Johnny, 68, is a retired book binder and organist from Walsall. Johnny performs Is This The Way to Amarillo.


Dunking Devils – Dunking Devils is a group of basketball freestylers from Slovenia, who showcase their skills of shooting hoops and basketball tricks. Some of the group’s members are involved in basketball full-time, while others are students.


Bollywest Fusion – Bollywest Fusion is a dance group from London, who merge two different styles of dancing: Bollywood and Hip Hop. The group consists of 11 members, aged 18-33.


Zyrah Rose – Zyrah Rose is a girl group from London, made up of Christine (25), Kara (28), Charlotte (28) and Emily (29), who all have a variety of day jobs. The girls got together as a group around 2 years ago. They sing Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire.


Total TXS – Kieron (19), Ryan (20), Oliver (18), Billy (18), Charlie (16) are a dance crew from Leicester, who met while attending the same dance school. They’ve been performing together for around 4 years now.


Charlie Placais – Charlie is a 29 year old aerialist and professional acrobat from Paris. His routine involves a bathtub filled with water.


Danny Beard – Danny Beard is a 23 year old drag cabaret performer from Manchester. He previously worked as a DJ, but now performs his act all around the UK. He sings Sweet Transvestite from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.


Christian Lee – Christian is a 44 year old full-time magician and entertainer. He lives in London with his family. His comedy-magic routine involves a pack of cards, a big balloon, a leaf blower and some help from Amanda.


Mel & Jamie – Mel (45) and Jamie (16) are a mother and son singing duo from Wales. Mel is a singer in care homes and Jamie is a secondary school student. Mel and Jamie have only been singing together for a few weeks, after Jamie originally applied for the show by himself. They sing A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera’s Say Something.


Britain’s Got Talent airs tonight (21st May) on ITV from 8pm. Britain’s Got More Talent follows straight after on ITV2.
