The hotly anticipated new Top Gear launched on BBC Two featuring new hosts Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc.
Since Jeremy Clarkson was given the sack by the BBC for punching a producer, Chris Evans’ has been working hard on rebooting the motoring show.
In tonight’s show Evans took the Dodge Viper ACR to the home of Top Gun in Nevada to battle it out against Sabine, who was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Corvette Z06.
Matt LeBlanc tackled the wilds of Morocco in the Ariel Nomad, before returning to British soil to take on Evans in a gruelling UK v USA challenge.
Plus, The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg, and volatile TV chef Gordon Ramsay took on ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’.
The new series has received mixed reviews online, Carol Vorderman MBE said: “Sorry #TopGear … switching off … looking forward to the proper boys on @amazonprimenow soon … night all xxx”
