Big Brother 2016 launch night is already in chaos as ‘safety fears’ grow over audience numbers.
The launch of Big Brother will kick off on Tuesday night at the newly rebuild set in Borehamwood, Health and Safety crew are now worried over audience numbers.
The newly build live studio is said to hold half as many audience members as previous years, sparking huge fears of overcrowding.
A bunch of ticket holders who were expected to attend Tuesday’s launch show have been told not to turn up a day before the show.
An email sent out by Applause Store, the official ticket handler for the show read, according to BBSpy: “It is with MASSIVE REGRET that we have had to cancel your tickets for tomorrow night’s Big Brother Launch.
“After a health and safety inspection this morning our audience numbers have dropped dramatically – in fact, we are unlikely to get 200 audience members into the new audience area versus a previous expectation of 350!”
When we contacted Channel 5 for comment, they declined.
Big Brother 2016 Live Launch airs on Channel 5, Tuesday (7th June) from 9pm.
