This year’s promo, created exclusively for the new series of The X Factor, launched on ITV yesterday.
Celebrating some of The X Factor’s most memorable moments, the promo trail for the new series, which launched yesterday, features a mash-up of clips from classic X Factor auditions and sees a host of X Factor judges, past and present, singing along to 2 Unlimited’s marmite classic song, No Limit.
The trail takes us back in time to some of the show’s iconic auditions, featuring a range of previous contestants from JLS to ‘The Chicken Man’, Jedward to the yodelling Barclay Beales and past winners, Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke.
This trail is the first in a number of videos which will air ahead of the new series starting in autumn. These will include another mash-up of judges past and present singing along to Salt N Pepper’s classic song ‘Push It’ and Simon Cowell rapping along to Tinie Tempah’s debut single, ‘Pass Out’.
The new series sees the return of everyone’s favourite TV host Dermot O’Leary and the audition rooms, where hopefuls will face the judging dream team of Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.
