Katie Waissel’s family want the police to quiz Christopher Biggins over comments which saw him ejected from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Katie Waissel’s family have called for the police to quiz Biggins over his anti-Semitic joke.
Channel 5 bosses axed Christopher Biggins over his “offensive” comments in the house – including one reported to be about the Holocaust.
Another comment was about bisexuals and AIDS.
Katie Waissel mum (Diana) insisted to The Mirror: “If his comments are as bad as we’re led to believe, they constitute a hate crime – police should be called in to investigate.”
Diana added: “Our whole family have a proud Jewish heritage and are absolutely disgusted by Biggins.
“But he’s not just hurt my daughter. It sounds like he’s said things offensive to most Jews.
“He was a national treasure but now he’s not fit for TV. He should be banned – he’s a liability.”
Friday afternoon Christopher Biggins was removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house – Channel 5 producers revealed they removed Biggins because of his offensive language.
A statement released by Channel 5 read: “Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
“Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public.
“Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. Christopher Biggins has left the house.”
