Ellen DeGeneres says she’s not racist following posting a controversial Usain Bolt edit!


US presenter Ellen DeGeneres has said she’s far from racist following tweeting a controversial Usain Bolt edit.


Ellen tweeted a parody of Usain Bolt that people are calling racist, she tweeted it to 61million followers.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show official Twitter account posted a Photoshopped picture of Ellen riding on the Olympic runner Usain Bolt’s back with the caption: “This is how I’m running errands from now on.”

Some people were offended by the Photoshopped picture, calling it racist.

One user wrote: “So riding on his back like a mule, a horse as some form of property is fun to you… Ok.”

Another said: “Ellen should fire who ever made that stupid picture of her on Usain BOLT’s back like he’s some animal.”

A few hours after tweeting the picture, Ellen insisted: “I am highly aware of the racism that exists in our country. It is the furthest thing from who I am,”
