Jamie Oliver has announced the name of his new baby boy, 2 weeks after his birth.
Two weeks ago, the Oliver family welcomed their fifth child to their picture perfect family. The couple already have three daughters and one son: Poppy Honey Rosie, 14, Daisy Boo Pamela, 12, Petal Blossom Rainbow, six, and five-year-old son Buddy Bear Maurice.
From his sibling’s name, it comes as no surprise that the new baby boy’s name will also be on the unusual side.
After two weeks, it seems the wait is finally over as Jamie’s wife, Jools reveals the name on her Instagram account.
Yesterday, Jools posted this picture on Instagram, with the words “Dream Big River” in the picture and included a rocket and blue love heart emoji in the caption.
Further evidence comes from Jamie’s sister Anne-Marie Hunt as she commented on the photo:”It’s all about the River today!”, adding a wink, rocket and a monkey emoji.
This is leading the nation to conclude Jamie Oliver’s son is called River Rocket.
The TV Chef was keen to share the news of the birth of his baby boy with the rest of the world as he posted an adorable picture of his son on Instagram, captioning the photo “sweet little fella, 8 days old, I can never get over how small they are, his hands are as big as my thumb…he wouldn’t let go as he had his first proper bath…All good making the most of time with the family before I go back to work soon. Big love JO X”
Jamie, 41, recently revealed that he was hoping for another son.
He said: “I thought we’d have a couple of kids but that’s about it. Basically, I do what I’m told, but she’s an amazing family maker and I just go with it.
“A bit more testosterone would probably be a good thing, but do you know what, I’m just grateful for whatever I get if it’s healthy.”
