The X Factor 2016 launch show ratings lowest in TEN years!

The X Factor 2016 launch on ITV last night had the lowest launch ratings in TEN years.


According to overnight data, it seems The X Factor struggled during it’s launch to bring in  the numbers like previous years.

The X Factor 2016 launch was down 800,000 viewers from last year’s launch.

And it’s the lowest ratings start for the ITV show in 10 years.

An average audience of 6.3 million viewers tuned in from 8pm on ITV.

With a peak of 6.7 million.

Airing straight after the main show The Xtra Factor with Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmondson saw 770,000 viewers.

The X Factor 2016 auditions continue tonight on ITV from 8PM.
