Zayn Malik launching new boyband TV show!

Zayn Malik plans to launch a new TV show about a boyband, causing Simon Cowell deep frustration.

The show will be in the form of a 1 hour drama and will tell the story of a boyband who have amazing success.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the new show will be titled Boys and Zayn has been working on it alongside Law & Order creator Dick Wolf. It will be set to launch on NBC in America.

“Zayn certainly brings an authentic point of view to this world where kids are catapulted into fame at a dizzying speed,” NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said.

However, the Daily Mirror has recently revealed that Simon Cowell is not happy about this news.

He’s quoted as telling Entertainment Tonight: “Nothing surprises me anymore. I think he should have come to me with it, if I’m being honest with you.

“I do actually believe that when they’ve got these ideas, bearing in mind where we started, they should actually come to me.”

This comes just after Niall Horan has also neglected his relationship with Simon Cowell by signing a record deal with Syco’s record deal.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Simon has made no secret of his expectations for Niall to stay loyal to him and has been desperately trying to keep him as a solo act with plans to turn him into a Justin Bieber style artist.

“They’ve worked together closely since day one and have always had a strong relationship, but Universal offered a lot of money.

“Simon’s likely to be so frustrated Niall has gone to a rival.”

One Direction are currently on a hiatus, after working constantly since they came third in The X Factor.
