Who will be joining Paul Hollywood on Great British Bake Off?

Rumours have started to speculate about the possible candidates for Paul Hollywood’s new pairing on the Great British Bake Off.

This week Paul Hollywood confirmed he will be staying on the Great British Bake Off as it move to Channel 4, whilst Mary Berry will remain loyal to the BBC.

Since this was revealed, rumours have been speculating about who could be joining Paul Hollywood in Channel 4’s version of Great British Bake Off.

Some of the most prominent names in these rumours include Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain as well as everyone’s favourite TV chef, Nigella Lawson.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Mary Berry has chosen to stay with the BBC, citing loyalty as her reason – so it’ll be interesting to hear Paul Hollywood’s explanation of moving to Channel 4.”

“I’m sure there are a million or two reasons behind the move – though teaming up with potential new judge Nigella Lawson could be the most prominent.”

As of now, the odds stand at 12/1 – Nigella Lawson, 14/1 – Delia Smith, 18/1 – Rachel Khoo, 33/1 – Nadiya Hussain.

Not only have fans been speculating about the new judge, but also rumours have been speculating about the new presenters of Great British Bake Off since Mel and Sue announced they would not be following the show to Channel 4.

Names mentions include Clare Balding and Jo Brand, who currently presents the spin off show on BBC 2.

As it stands, the odds stand 8/1 – Clare Balding, 10/1 – Jo Brand, 11/1 – French & Saunders, 12/1 – Claudia Winkleman, 12/1 – Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, 12/1 – Sandi Toksvig, 12/1 – Victoria Coren Mitchell, 14/1 – Matt Baker, 14/1 – James Martin, 14/1 – Jo Brand, 16/1 – Keith Lemon, 18/1 – Emma Willis, 18/1 – Myleene Klass, 18/1 – Sarah Millican, 20/1 – Richard and Judy
