Honey G had just finished her rendition of MC Hammer’s Can’t Touch This on Saturday’s show, and while Louis Walsh was giving his comments to contestant about her performance, a prankster invaded the stage.

Camera’s quickly cut to the judges after viewers caught a glimpse of a mystery man hugging Honey G on stage.

Although viewers believe they caught evidence on camera that the invader was a setup by production staff, calling the stunt ‘pathetic’ and ‘ridiculous’.

The shocking footage posted on social media appears the invader was actually pushed onto the stage by a member of the show’s crew.

Shortly after the invasion X Factor boss [Simon] said: “I thought that was part of the act for a moment. This is what you do, you drive people a little bit crazy. Are you alright?

“Come back believing that you are a star!”
