X Factor 2016: Simon Cowell ‘looking at signing Matt Terry if he doesn’t win’!

Simon Cowell may sign X Factor hopeful Matt Terry even if he doesn’t win the series on Sunday night.

Matt Terry is one of the two finalists left, Matt is up against Saara Aalto for The X Factor 2016 crown.

Louis Tomlinson lookalike has gone from strength to strength in the X Factor competition, and now he’s in the final two.

Although Simon’s and Matt’s relation on the show has been rocky at times, with some occasional harsh criticism – Simon is reportedly looking at signing Matt to his record label Syco.

On Sunday’s results show Matt re-performed his favourite song, ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ by Sam Smith – It made judge Nicole Scherzinger cry.

Simon told Matt: “From the duet last night to this, you are having a really strong final. No gimmicks, you look great, your voice is great…. It is like you suddenly evolved…. You absolutely deserve it Matt.”

A source has revealed that Simon has a keen interest in Matt and a record label could be on the table for him if Saara wins on Sunday.

Simon Cowell has already signed an X Factor 2016 contestant, Honey G.

ONE week after being eliminated from the competition, Simon Cowell called Honey G to offer her a record deal.

Honey G confirmed the news on social media, she wrote: “I am ecstatic to announce I have been Signed by SYCO, Simon Cowells record label and will be releasing my first single on 23rd December.”
