X Factor contestant, Honey G, is expecting big things from her new single!
Honey G is possibly the most memorable X Factor contestant ever, with her eccentric style and debatable rapping, fuelling talk across the country.
Unfortunately, Honey G lost out in a place in The X Factor final, losing her place at the Quarter Finals.
However, its not all bad news, Honey G was pretty much immediately signed to Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco.
Her debut single, The Honey G Show, will be released to download and stream on Friday, putting in a late bid for Christmas Number One alongside X Factor winner Matt Terry.
Talking to The Sun Newspaper, she said: “It’s making my dreams come true. I’m ecstatic. I’ve never been this happy before in my life,”
“X Factor has completely turned my life around. It’s taken me from the gutter to this, a record deal offer. I’m so over the moon.”
“One day I’m going to be somewhere on live television, I might have a MOBO and I might have a Mercury,” she said.
Honey G added: “I’ll say ‘Big up everyone who said I wasn’t gonna get a Mercury, big up everyone who said I wasn’t gonna get a MOBO, big up everyone who said I couldn’t have a No1 hit, big up everyone who said I couldn’t be a platinum selling artist.’
However, this confidence is not surprising as she has previously said that she will be as big as One Direction- well a girl can dream.
The Honey G Show will be released on Friday 23rd December.
