Celebrity Big Brother 2017: One celebrity QUITS hours before live launch show!

One celebrity has decided to quit HOURS before the live launch show of Celebrity Big Brother 2017.

If it couldn’t already get worse for the Big Brother producers after the US celebs fail to arrive early from their flights – It seems the lineup has already lost a member before the show begins.

Actor Jody Latham, best known for his role in Channel 4’s Shameless has reportedly quit with hours to go before he was supposed to enter the house.

A source said before these claims: “He was one of the nation’s most promising actors during his time on Shameless and he’s hoping he’ll be able to recreate that success again after going on CBB.”

Now The Sun reports that Jody has quit with only hours to go.

Although… Here’s the twist. Jody’s spokesperson has denied the claims.

“Jody was never even signed up to do CBB so I have no idea where this story has come from,” the spokesperson said.

“He’s focusing on his acting and has joined the creator of Shameless Paul Abbot again to star in Paul’s C4 show No Offence.

“It’s great that he’s back working with Paul the writer who launched Jody’s career on Shameless.”

Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal are returning to host the reality show on Channel 5 – Although Rylan has been hinted to enter the house as part of an early-day task.

In a new twist, half of the famous residents are previous contestants returning for a second stay, having made their mark the first time round.

These so-called All Stars, and the New Stars, will be moving into a house that has been given a bright pop art makeover – although when they start butting heads, the language will probably be more colourful than the decor.

Channel 5 have revealed the famous house pictures for Celebrity Big Brother 2017 – inspired by Andy Warhol, the house is pop-art themed.

Big Brother producers have revealed that over 150 cans of paint were used to theme the newly renamed house.

Celebrity Big Brother 2017 kicks off tonight (Tuesday 3rd January) at 9pm on Channel 5.
