Britain’s Got Talent 2017: Auditions have seen way too many OPERA singers!

This year’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions have seen way too many OPERA singers – and Simon isn’t happy.

Ant and Dec have returned alongside, judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

Britain’s Got Talent auditions have already visited London and Birmingham – and are heading to Manchester as we write this.

It appears throughout the audition process there’s been a constant talent which is driving the judges insane… Opera singers.

Opera singers are swarming to BGT this year and there’s one song they always choose to sing ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’.

During the Birmingham auditions Simon mentioned they’ve had a lot of opera singers this year and he’s sick to death of hearing the song ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’.

Anyone who performs that song will be asked to perform their second choice.

BGT producers always ask for singers to list a number of songs they’re willing to sing if the judges reject their preferred choice.

Although it hasn’t been all bad for auditions – Simon Cowell hit his golden buzzer on the first day at London.

David Walliams and Amanda Holden both pressed their golden buzzers on the first day at Birmingham.

Ant and Dec, and Alesha Dixon have yet to press their golden buzzers.

Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV later this year.
