Matt Terry snubs Les Miserable offer, but would’ve applied for BBC’s Let It Shine if X Factor failed!

The X Factor winner Matt Terry has said he would’ve applied for BBC’s Let It Shine if The X Factor failed.

Matt Terry has revealed he’s been inundated with work offers since winning The X Factor – His most appealing offer was from the West End musical Les Miserable.

Matt turned down a role in Les Misérables to focus on his career as a solo artist – Although if he was rejected from The X Factor he said he would’ve applied for BBC’s Let It Shine.

Matt told BANG Showbiz (via Daily Mirror): “I got offered to be in Les Mis in the West End that was really cool,

“I’d love to, it’s just finding the time because I felt this year I don’t really have the time, maybe next year I’ll get to do it for a month or so.”

He added: “In fact if I hadn’t have done The X Factor I hopefully would have had the opportunity to go on to Let It Shine.

BBC’s Let It Shine is a new talent show looking for five performers to play a boy band in a brand new nationwide touring musical that features the music of Take That – Produced by Gary Barlow.
