Vicky Pattison has hit back at claims she’s been sacked from I’m A Celebrity Extra Camp.
Vicky Pattison isn’t happy about claims she has been fired from ITV’s I’m A Celebrity’s spin-off show Extra Camp.
Vicky replaced Laura Whitmore as left for Strictly Come Dancing in last year’s show, but now it’s looking very unlikely the reality star will return for another series.
Vicky won I’m A Celebrity back in 2015, and last year she was joined by another winner Joe Swash, Stacey Solomon and comedian Chris Ramsey on the ITV2 show.
Vicky has insisted that no decision has been made about her departure, despite The Sun reporting she’s been sacked.
“If I’m not right for a job or the producers decide to replace me, I would take it on the chin,” Vicky said.
“I know I’m relatively new to this industry but I do know that’s the future of the game.
“However, there have been no decisions made about Extra Camp, none at all, and that’s a quote that’s gone on record from both my management and everyone at ITV.”
“If, when the time comes, ITV decide to replace me or my role is made obsolete, I will accept it.
She added: “But in the meantime, the big wigs and large cheeses are far too busy sorting out Saturday Night Takeaway and Love Island, and we get thought about much further along in the year.”
A spokesperson for ITV said: “No decisions have been made about changes to the Extra Camp line up as yet.”
