BBC’s Let It Shine judge Martin Kemp has teased a second series of the show, it could be returning next year.
At the start of the year Gary Barlow launched ‘Let It Shine’ on the BBC, which ended in late January.
The aim of the show was to find some talented performers that would win a role in Gary’s new stage musical ‘The Band’, a musical based on the songs of Take That.
Band ‘Five To Five’ won the first ever series, and secured themselves a part in Gary’s musical.
Let It Shine judge Martin Kemp teased a second series, he told the Mirror: “We’ve talked about [a second series] and we’ve got some ideas. I’d love to do it again because it was so much fun.
“We are in very early stage discussions about a Spandau Ballet musical, but I think it’s unlikely Let It Shine would be part of that,” Martin added.
Martin has ruled out a dedicated series to his band Spandau Ballet.
BBC haven’t yet revealed any information on a potential second series of ‘Let It Shine’.
Tickets for Take That’s new musical ‘The Band’ are on sale now.
